1. Is this apprenticeship approved for Missouri massage licensure?
Yes. This program follows Missouri’s 500-hour apprenticeship pathway as well was exceeds it to 750-hours and prepares you to apply for a state massage license after completion and passing the MBLEx exam.
2. Can apprentices earn money or accept tips?
No. Missouri law prohibits apprentices from receiving payment, tips, or charging for services. All hands-on sessions are training only and must be supervised.
3. How long does the program take to complete?
Most apprentices finish in 9–18 months, depending on weekly availability, clinic hours, and attendance.
4. Do I need any previous experience to apply?
No experience is required. This apprenticeship is designed for beginners, career changers, and anyone passionate about entering the healing arts.
5. What will I learn during the apprenticeship?
You will study anatomy, physiology, kinesiology, Swedish massage, deep tissue basics, therapeutic skills, ethics, Missouri law, business foundations, documentation, and MBLEx exam prep — plus supervised hands-on clinic training.
6. What is the weekly schedule like?
This is where the apprenticeship is different, I can train new students and help work around work or family activities.
7. What supplies or textbooks will I need?
None, other then appropriate clothing. You can order the textbooks if you so choose.
8. Does the program include supervised hands-on practice?
Yes. You will practice techniques inside a working clinic with your instructor supervising for safety, technique, draping, and professionalism.
9. Does the program include MBLEx exam preparation?
Yes. You will receive practice tests, study guides, review lessons, and test-taking strategies to prepare for the national licensing exam.
10. How do I enroll?
